    • Depending on whether the hub is used or not, the cable type to use varies.
      Check the cable in use.
      - With hub: Straight cable
      - Without hub: Cross cable

    • When a hub is used, check the LED that indicates the hub link condition.
      If not lit, check the cable, and insert it into another empty port on the hub.

    • Turn on the hub again.

    • Check for errors in setting, such as exchanged data between the subnet mask and default gateway of the TSi/V series.

  3. Check the IP address of the TSi/V series on the Main Menu → Ethernet screen, and set it on the [Transfer]→[Communication Setting] dialog.

  4. Check a ping from the PC to the TSi/V series.
    If not pinged, check the IP addresses of the PC and the TSi/V series.

    Example: When checking or changing the IP address of the PC

[When the transfer cable "V-CP" is used]

<Causes>

  1. The transfer cable "V-CP" is not connected correctly.
  2. The COM port number set on the [Transfer]→[Communication Setting] dialog is not consistent with the COM port number of the PC.
  3. MJ1 is being used for another function; however, the Main Menu screen is not displayed.
  4. "Editor : MJ1" is not displayed at the bottom left of the Main Menu screen.
  5. "Modem Connect Mode" is displayed at the bottom left of the Main Menu screen.
