How to store screen data on a storage device

Two methods are available. Follow the steps below.

[When storing data from the PC (V-SFT) to a storage device]

 V-SFT Ver.6

  1. Click [File] -> [Storage Manager].

     

  2. Specify the drive where the storage device is inserted and click [OK].
    The [Storage Manager] window is displayed.

  3. Click [Write to Storage].
    Select the screen data from [Open] and click [OK].

    * When writing screen data that is being edited, check [Write Data Being Edited].

     

  4. Writing starts.
    Screen data will be written as a BIN file in the DSP folder in the access folder (default: DAT0000) on the storage device.

     

    How to store screen data in a storage device

    If the screen data file is copied onto the storage device, the TS/V series cannot recognize the file.
    Be sure to write data as described above.

 

V-SFT Ver.5

  1. Click [File] → [CF Card Manager].

     

  2. Specify the drive where the CF card is inserted and click [OK]. The [CF Card Manager] window is displayed.

     

  3. Select [File] → [Write to CF Card].

  4. The [Write to CF Card] dialog is displayed.
    Click [Open] and select the screen data file to write to the CF card for [Path of File to Be Converted].

    * When writing screen data that is being edited, check [Write Data Being Edited].


  5. Click the [OK] button to start writing. Screen data will be written as a BIN file in the DSP folder in the access folder (default: DAT0000) on the CF card.

[When storing data from the TS/V series to a storage device]

TS2060i

  1. Press [Main Menu] on the Main Menu screen and press [Storage Transfer].

     

  2. The Storage Transfer screen is displayed.
    Set as shown below:
    • [Target for Storage: Built-in Socket or USB Port]
    • [Data Selection: Screen Data]

       

  3. Press [Transfer Menu: Display → Storage].

     

  4. Check the storage file information and folder name, and press [Start].
    (During data transfer, the [Start] switch changes to "Transferring".)

     

  5. When the data has been transferred successfully, the [Work normally finished.] dialog is displayed.
    Press the [OK] switch.

    Screen data will be written as a BIN file in the DSP folder in the access folder (default: DAT0000) on the storage device.

TS1000S series

  1. Press [Main Menu] on the Main Menu screen and press [Storage Transfer].

     

  2. The Storage Transfer screen is displayed.
    Select [Screen Data] in Data Selection Menu.

  3. Press [Transfer Menu: Display → Storage].

     

  4. Check the storage file information and folder name, and press [Start].
    (During data transfer, the [Start] switch changes to "Transferring".)

     

  5. When the data has been transferred successfully, the [Work normally finished.] dialog is displayed.
    Press the [OK] switch.

    Screen data will be written as a BIN file in the DSP folder in the access folder (default: DAT0000) on the storage device.

V8/V7 series

  1. Press [Main Menu] on the Main Menu screen and press [Card Menu].

     

  2. The Card Transfer screen is displayed.
    Set as shown below:
    • [CF Card Inserted to: Built-in Socket or USB Port (CF card recorder)]
    • [Data Selection: Screen Data]

       

  3. Press [Transfer Menu: Display → Card].

     

  4. Check the CF card file information and folder name, and press [Start].
    (During data transfer, the [Start] switch changes to "Transferring".)

     

  5. When the data has been transferred successfully, the [Work normally finished.] dialog is displayed.
    Press the [OK] switch.

    Screen data will be written as a BIN file in the DSP folder in the access folder (default: DAT0000) on the CF card.
