How to connect two temperature controllers/inverters from different manufacturers
Two methods are available.
[Method 1: When the model is included in the options in the [Hardware Setting] dialog]
The V10/V9 series can be connected with three models at the same time via three serial ports.
Set as shown below:
Example:
PLC3: OMRON E5AN/E5EN/E5CN/E5GN
PLC2: Fuji Electric PXF (MODBUS RTU)
Setting location: [System Setting] -> [Hardware Setting]
[Method 2: When both controllers are compatible with Modbus RTU]
If the device is compatible with Modbus RTU protocol, two models can be connected at one port.
Select the following option for model setting.
- MODBUS RTU expanded format
- MODBUS RTU (Modbus Free)
Setting location: [System Setting] -> [Hardware Setting]
