<V-Server> How many monitored devices can be registered?

A maximum of 65,535 monitored devices can be registered.

 

An appropriate number of monitored devices to be registered:

Up to twenty devices* when the polling interval is 5sec.
However, the number will vary depending on the setting of V-Server (such as tags, loggings, event monitoring) or whether or not the remote mode is executed.

 

*Notes:

  • The time required to read out 50 words of PLC memory is 150-200ms.
  • Polling at 5-second intervals (for instance) will be executable at a maximum of 25 monitored devices from the equation: 5,000ms/200ms = 25.
  • Experiments using up to 16 monitored devices have been conducted by us.
