V10/V9 series Error HKFAQ000318

date: 2021/7/28

An error occurs in V-SFT when opening a screen program that connects to MICREX-SX

This page describes the following errors.

Screen programs for SX Programmer Expert (D300Win) projects
  • Not exist a work sheet/group.
  • It is DDE communication error.
  • Not compile Variable ****./Not exist the specified project.
  • Failed in reading a global variables file.
  • Line length over
Screen programs for SX Programmer Standard projects
  • Not exist the specified project. [-7]
  • There is an error. [-30]

Not exist a work sheet/group.

 <Causes>

The SX project specified in V-SFT is incorrect.
The resource name, worksheet name/group name of the SX project specified in V-SFT does not match the linked project.

<Solutions>
  • Check that the project file specified at [MICREX-SX] → [Project] in V-SFT is correct.
  • Check that the resource name and worksheet name/group name specified at [MICREX-SX] → [Project] in V-SFT matches the setting on the PLC.

If the linked project or reference target path is incorrect, select the correct files.

It is DDE communication error.

 <Causes>
  • The SX project file for linking and the folder of the same name cannot be found.
  • A communication error has occurred because the version of V-SFT or D300Win is old.

<Solutions>
  • When a project file is saved in D300Win, a folder with the same name as the project file is created in the folder where the project file is stored. When linking with V-SFT, this folder must be in the folder where the project file is stored. Check that this folder exists.
  • Update V-SFT and D300Win to the latest versions and then try linking the project again.

Not compile Variable ****./Not exist the specified project.

<Causes>

The SX project file for linking does not exist.

<Solutions>

Store the SX project file at the link target path specified at [MICREX-SX] → [Project] in V-SFT.

Failed in reading a global variables file.

<Causes>
  • If the folder structure to the storage location of the project for linking is too deep, the path of the storage location may be considered invalid.
  • A variable name or variable group name in the linked project may be invalid.

 <Solutions>
  • Change the storage location of the SX project to the following and then try linking the project again.

    C:\D300Win\Projects
  • Check that there are no locations in the SX project that correspond to restrictions or limitations.
    For more information on restrictions and limitations, refer to "Usable Variables for Variable Name Cooperation".

Line length over

<Causes>

A variable comment set in D300W is too long and therefore cannot be read by V-SFT.

 <Solutions>

Set comments to 255 bytes or less in D300Win.

* If the version of D300Win has been updated, the comment length may have been lengthened due to changes in how comments are added in D300Win.

For more information, refer to .

Not exist the specified project. [-7]

* This error occurs in a screen program for SX Programmer Standard projects.

<Causes>

This error occurs in a screen program that use device memory such as X/Y, P/PE link, or FL-Net when the device information file (.ini file) exported from SX Programmer Standard has not been imported.

<Solutions>

Export the device information file (.ini file) from SX Programmer Standard and import the file into V-SFT.

  1. Export the device information file (.ini) from SX Programmer Standard.

    [Project] → [Export] → [Device Information]

  2. Import the device information file (.ini) into V-SFT.

    [MICREX-SX] → [Import]

    * Selecting the [Store the Project information in the screen data] checkbox allows device memory to be deployed normally even without the .ini file when the screen program is read from the MONITOUCH. If this checkbox is not selected, the .ini file must always be stored at the specified path.

There is an error. [-30]

* This error occurs in a screen program for SX Programmer Standard projects.

<Causes>
  • The folder with the same name as the .ini file does not exist in the folder where the imported device information file (.ini file) is stored.
  • This error may occur if the path of the storage location of the device information file (.ini file) is too deep.

<Solutions>
  • Export the device information file (.ini file) from SX Programmer Standard again. If the .ini file needs to be moved, move the file together with the folder of the same name.
  • This error may occur if the path of the storage location of the device information file (.ini file) to be imported is too deep.
    Move the file and folder to the root folder of the C: drive etc. and check that the file can be successfully imported.
