What are the differences between an analog switch and a matrix switch?
The differences are described below.
[Analog switch]
- The display unit is equipped with analog resistive film. Switches can be placed in any position in 1-dot units.
Switches can be enlarged or reduced in 1-dot units. - Two switches on the screen cannot be pressed at the same time. (A switch can be pressed with a function switch.)
[Matrix switch]
- Switch grids are predetermined. Switches can be placed at an arbitrary position.
Switches must be enlarged or reduced based on the switch grids. - Two switches on the screen can be pressed at the same time.
"M" is suffixed to the V series model name for the matrix switch type. For more information, refer to the catalog or Hardware Specifications Manual for the applicable series. |
